My son was 3 two days ago has recently started nursery in the afternoons.He was soo excited about going as his Auntie who was only 4 used to go to the same nursery and he would watch her get dropped off from the garden and cry that he wanted to go.He had a trial hour which he loved and then went for his first day after summer and loved it. After that first day he became ill and the doctor advised to keep him off school for the rest of the week which i did. He returned to school for aweek which he totally loved but now since monday this week he screams blue murder when i drop him off and clings to me like a limpet. He has said hes too scared to go and that the hand drier in the bathrooms make too much noise. This is something that the nursery teachers had told me of but they assure him, as do i, that he can use a paper towel. There is absolutely no consoling him and its really upsetting to leave him, what if he doesnt make friends and this behaviour carries on? I’ve no clue wot 2do.
