I found this on the beach. The cellphone has limpets on the screen and back casing and tiny barnacles along the sides. There was something fascinating about it. or maybe it is just the pain killers. It was a good walk though.

28 September 2010, our HD video camera watched as the ROPOS ROV worked to install instrumentation 2180m below sea level, next to Grotto Edifice a hydrothermal vent in the Endeavour Ridge Marine Protected Area. This rare time-lapse footage of ROPOS at work gives a sense of this strange and amazing deep-sea volcanic rift valley in the northeast Pacific Ocean, where fantastic sulfide towers vent 325C hydrothermal fluids, supporting unusual communities of tube worms, scale worms, limpets and other creatures.
