  1. Washington State. There are lots of them crawling on the rocky beaches exposed at low tide in the San Juan Islands. (Of course I assume by limpet you are referring to the relative of the snail wearing a cone shaped shell)

  2. You can find limpets anywhere there is rocky intertidal habitat. Along the west coast, rocky intertidal habitat can be found along every state. Along the east coast, rocky intertidal habitat can be found along the northeast.
