Steve Carrell would be perfect! What about Steve Buscemi? He is skinny and has the buggy eyes like Don Knotts. He can also be pretty funny. Hell, I wanna laugh just looking at his expressions sometimes.

I loved those movies. Apple Dumpling Gang-both of them-what an awesome actor Don Knotts was. There really aren’t many that can take his place and do it justice. Hey, buddy!! Why don’t you try out for the part? You’d be as good or better than most. I’d go to see it!!
