limpets are marine organisms that attach themselves to rocks. under what environmental conditions would intermediate forms of limpets (those that are tan instead of white or dark brown) be at a disadvantage?

i think it is extreme salt concertations and hot springs in the ocean.

When its color makes the limpet stand out in its environment. When the limpet stands out in an environment fill with predators it makes it easier for them to spot the limpet and make it a meal.
